Revenant

A concept sketch of the main character of a novel/graphic novel I'm toying with currently. Nothing fancy, just some tones and shading because I thought it looked better with no color. The poem in the background reads; "Scarred for undeath, no rest for the revenant, past the last breath, it kills in due penance." 

As a side note; this'll have to be my first picture here marked with mature content for two obvious reasons. The image itself wasn't intended to be sexual at all, considering the character in question is roughly eleven years old, but there was no way to believably display her scar without also exposing the breast area. Probably not gonna get any views on this because of the filter, but whatevs, as they say.
